Mr. Earl Markham and Miss Lucille Christofel were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage in this city last Thursday evening at 7:30, the service being performed by Re. Guy J. Fansher, pastor of the Leon Methodist church. They were accompanied by Mrs. F. F. Painter, sister of the bride, and by Miss Nina Still, who acted as witnesses. Both bride and groom are well known in Leon, the groom having been employed as clerk in Stoner's grocery, and the bride was in attendance at High School.
