We have written up hundreds and hundreds of weddings during the thirty-five years we have edited The Reporter, but this week we are pretty nearly stumped when we attempt to tell our readers of the marriage of our only daughter, DOROTHY, who was quietly married at our home at noon last Saturday to DR. JOHN C. PARSONS, the ceremony being performed by Rev. T.F. Campbell, Pastor of the Leon Presbyterian Church, using the ring ceremony, the guests being only the immediate relatives, including the groom's parents, MR. and MRS. ARTHUR PARSONS, of Geneseo, Illinois, and their daughter, MISS LENA PARSONS.

DOROTHY was born in Leon where all of her life has been spent except four years at the State University of Iowa City, from which she graduated two years ago, and for the past two years has been a member of the faculty of the Leon High School. The groom is also a graduate of the State University at Iowa City, from which he graduated in medicine, and the past year has been an interne at the City and County Hospital at San Francisco, and since July lst has been a house officer at the hospital. We think he is a fine young man, or we would never have permitted him to take our only daughter from us.

The young couple departed the same eveing for Los Angeles, California, where they will spend a few days with relatives and also at Berkeley, California, before going to their home at San Francisco, where they will be located for at least a year.
