At Van Wert on the 23rd of December, at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. J.M. HALSTEAD, their daughter BAALIS, was united in marriage with MR. GUY MCMORRIS of Leon, A.B. Cornell, a former Pastor and friend of the family, officiating.
Both of the contracting parties are well and favorably known in this city and in the county. MRS. MCMORRIS has taught several years in the Van Wert Public School and one or two years in Missouri. She is a leader in church and social circles, universally esteemed and honored by all who knew her.
The groom, MR. MCMORRIS, is County Clerk elect, chosen at the November election by a good majority. He is a worthy and competent young man and a soldier boy. This young couple will begin their married life under lucky stars. The bride will finish this year's school work, after which they will reside in Leon. Their many friends will wish them a long and happy life.
