On Saturday, April l9, MR. HARRY RUSSELL AVITT, of Chariton, Iowa, and MISS EDITH MAY HALL, of Van Wert, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. BENJAMINE A. HALL, by the Pastor of the Methodist Church, Rev. James Walls. The groom's father, JAMES L. AVITT is dead and his mother is now MRS. JESSE E. HOPE. MR. LAURENCE MCAFEE accompanied the groom and the bride was attended by her sister, DOROTHY IRENE. After the ceremony, a wedding supper was served by the bride's mother, MRS. HALL.

The future plans of the young couple have not yet been fully decided.
