At the home of the groom's parents, MR. and MRS. WILL TOMPKINS, at Weldon, on last Thursday occurred the wedding of MR. ETZEL TOMPKINS and MISS ALICE SMITHHART, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Frank Moore, Pastor of the Weldon M.E. Church.

Both of these young people are well and favorably known among a large circle of friends, the bride being a daughter of MR. and MRS. J.H. SMITHHART, of north of Leon. For the present they will make their home with MR. TOMPKINS' parents at Weldon, and many friends extend congratulations and well wishes for their happiness and prosperity on their journey through life.
