The marriage of MISS MYRTLE GAMBLE, daughter of MR. and MRS. JAMES GAMBLE, of near Garden Grove, to BERT SCOTT, of Leon, Iowa, son of JOHN SCOTT, also of near Garden Grove, was performed October 6th at high noon at the Presbyterian Manse in Leon, Iowa, by the Rev. W. B. Paterson. While the knot was being tied in the presence of a number of relatives and friends of the bride and groom, MRS. GAMBLE SR., MRS. TRISLER and MRS. ALLEY remained at the SCOTT home getting ready the big dinner for MR. and MRS. SCOTT and the wedding guests. Judging from their appearance, full justice was done around the heavily laden table of eatables.

Those present were RALPH GAMBLE and wife, PAUL GAMBLE and wife, two sisters of the bride, MRS. GRACE GOFF and MRS. LULA TOMPKINS, a niece FRANCES TOMPKINS, a nephew, MAURICE TOMPKINS, LYMAN SCOTT and MUSETTA ALLEY, of Leon, IRENE BELDING of Elston, Iowa.

The new home will be in Leon, Iowa.
