MR. FRANCIS J. PEARSON, of Leon and MISS ETTA M. AKERS, of Decatur, were married at the M.E. Parsonage in Mt. Ayr on Friday, June lst, the Rev. Jay Kirkendall officiating. These young people put one over on their friends by slipping away and getting married, but that does not prevent them from extending congratulations and best wishes for their happiness and prosperity. The groom is a son of MR. and MRS. JOSEPH PEARSON of Leon, and holds a responsible position with the Leon Storage Battery Co., in this city. He is a popular young man, who served in the Navy during the World War. The bride is one of Decatur's most charming young ladies, who enjoys the esteem and friendhsip of a very large circle of warm friends, MR. and MRS. PEARSON will make their home in this city.
