The many friends of MISS ELTA MOORE of this city were much surprised to receive last Friday the announcement of her marriage to MR. DWIGHT EBELHEISER on April ll, at LeMars, Iowa.
The bride is the accomplished daughter of MR. and MRS. MILO MOORE of this city. She has grown to womanhood in this city, is a graduate of the Gregory High School, had taken special work in music at Drake University and recently finished a commercial course at Omaha. It was while at Drake University that she met MR. EBELHEISER, then a law student in the same institution. And like many other romances of student life, it culminated in a happy marriage.
The groom is a graduate of the Law Department of Drake University and at present is a teacher and coach in the Kingsley High School. He has visited in Gregory a number of times and those who know him speak of him in the highest terms.
The bride but recently completed her commercial course, and it was when this course was completed that she was met in Omaha by MR. EBELHEISER and with a few friends, went to LeMars, Iowa, where the happy couple were married by Rev. Seward of the Methodist Church.
MRS. EBELHEISER came to Gregory and assisted a few days in the Commercial State Bank but gave no inkling of her marriage. After mailing her announcements, Monday morning, she left for Kingsley, Iowa, where they will live until the close of school. MR. and MRS. EBELHEISER will spend part of their summer vacation in this city.
