On Tuesday evening, May 8th, at 8:30 o'clock, a quiet wedding took place at the home of MR. and MRS. DANIEL MACK, in Bethany, Mo., when MR. JOHN JOHNSON, of Ridgeway, Mo., and MRS. EFFIE A. DAVIS, of Pleasanton, were united in marriage, the ceremony being performed under an arch decorated with beautiful flowers, by Judge H.G. Bloomfield.

The bride is well-known in this vicinity, having resided for a number of years at Pleasanton, and is an accomplished lady, with many dear friends, and promises to make a pleasant companion. The groom is a prominent businessman of Ridgeway, being proprietor of a large mercantile establishment.

MR. and MRS. JOHNSON departed for Ridgeway after the ceremony, and a host of friends join in wishing them a happy and prosperous life.
