A very quiet wedding occurred at the home of MRS. ALICE MARBLE, on Monday of this week, when MR. J.G. FLORA and MRS. ALICE J. MARBLE, both well-known to the people of this community, succeeded in surprising their many friends, entering the matrimonial hark, with scarcely anyone suspecting their plans.
At eight o'clock the happy couple, unattended, took their places and Elder W.E. Prall pronounced the ceremony uniting them in marriage. The only guests present were MRS. MYRTA COX and little son, MARBLE, of Leon, daughter and grandson of the bride, and MR. DWIGHT FREEMAN, an old friend and neighbor of the groom.
Immediately following the ceremony, a luncheon was served, after which MR. and MRS. FLORA departed for their new home on the farm south of Davis City, where they are at home to their friends. MR. and MRS. FLORA are well and favorably known in this community and the News, together with their many friends, extend their best wishes.
