DR. FRED A. BOWMAN and MISS LILLIAN PULLEN, pulled one on their many friends by slipping away last Saturday to Maysville, Missouri, where they were married, going on to St. Joe to spend their honeymoon, and will return to Leon Friday evening of this week.

Their many friends in this community extend hearty congratulations and well wishes. Both have resided in Leon for a number of years and each enjoys the esteem and friendship of a very large circle of friends who unite in wishing them much happiness. The bride was head saleslady at the Hurst Store in Leon for many years but spent the past year in wyoming, returning home some weeks ago. She has always taken an active interest in social and public affairs and we welcome her as a permanent resident of our city.
