Decatur County Journal March 5, l897 Married, February 28, l897, at the residence of the bride's parents in Hamilton Township, Decatur County, Iowa, WILLIAM H. GRAVES and MISS LENNA M. DALE, both of Hamilton Township, ESQ. D.C. COWLES officiating. After the happy young couple had received the congratulations of relatives and friends, all were invited into the dining room where a table loaded with good things awaited them, to which all paid due attention. Leon Reporter, Leon, Iowa Thursday, March ll, l897 Married -- at the home of the bride's parents on Sunday, Feb. 28, l897, at l o'clock, MR. HOWARD GRAVES to MISS LENNA DALE, Mr. D.C. Cowles officiating. The wedding march was played by Miss Minnie Marble, of Clio. After congratulations they repaired to the dining room where a bountiful table was set to which the guests did ample justice, there being about forty present. The bride was one of Decatur County's most pleasant and esteemed young ladies and was loved by all who knew her, the groom also has many friends. The bride's dress was of tan serge and white satin, while the groom wore the conventional black suit. They received many useful presents. The infair at the groom's home on Monday was well attended.
