The Leon Reporter Leon, Decatur County, Iowa Mr. Matson L. Garton, of Weldon, and Miss Mabel Stover, of Pleasanton, were quietly married by Rev. W. H. Larrick, pastor of the M. E. church at Weldon last Wednesday evening [March 3, 1920]. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. J. H. Stover, of Pleasanton, and is one of our popular and successful school teachers, a young lady of many accomplishments and well fitted to preside over a home of her own. The groom is a very well known young farmer, and they will make their home at Weldon. Their many friends extend congratulations and well wishes for their future. Transcription by Sharon R.
