Decatur County Journal Leon, Decatur County, Iowa September 02, 1897 'DRAKE-HUFFMAN MARRIAGE' Leon friends of the bride will be agreeably surprised to hear of the marriage of MISS CARRIE HUFFMAN of this city to W.S. DRAKE of Wapello, last Thursday. MISS HUFFMAN is one of Decatur County's most popular school teachers and is held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. We are unacquainted with the groom, but doubt not that he is in every way worthy of his bride. In a letter to a Leon friend, the bride states that her husband and she will be at home to their friends one-half mile west of Wapello.
