The Leon Reporter Leon, Decatur County, Iowa Thursday, January 04, 1917, Page 7 Christmas Wedding. On Christmas day Miss Susannah Haroff of near Lamoni and Mr. Elmer Cheney of North English, Iowa county, Iowa, were united in marriage in the home of the bride's parents, just across the Missouri line, south of Lamoni. About thirty guests were present to witness the ceremony and partake of the wedding feast. The house was beautifully decorated, the happy couple being united as they stood under a beautiful arch of flowers. Both bride and groom are members of the Brethren church and the ceremony was performed by Rev. G. T. Rusk of the Leon Brethren church. The happy pair will make their home near North English.
