DECATUR COUNTY RALLY SONG

(Tune: "Stand up for Jesus.")

JOHN A. GATES.

I.
Come all you loyal hearted,
A song of praise we'll sing,
To old Decatur County,
Our laurels we will bring.

(Chorus)
Then here's to old Decatur,
And may she ever stand,
In everything she enters,
For all that's good and grand.

II.
We're always up and doing,
We are resolved to grow,
In schools and education,
We'll rech the top, we know.

Chorus: Then here's to old Decatur, etc.

III.
So we'll forever forward,
Nor pause, nor hesitate;
We'll send our name and fame abroad,
O'er all this fertile state.

Chorus: Then here's to old Decatur, etc.

IV.
The onward march of progress,
We never will delay,
But, working all together,
Toil upward day by day.

Chorus: Then here's to old Decatur, etc.
