New Depot for Leon.

The citizens of Leon are justly elated over the fact that they are soon to have a new depot, of modern design and constructed of brick and stone. The superintendent of this division has submitted plans and drawings to the people of Leon and they having approved them the new building is now a sure thing. According to the plans it is to be 84 feet long, with the baggage room occupying the west end of the building. Next comes the gentlemen's smoking room, the toilet, and the ticket office on the south side of the building and the ladies' rest room and toilet on the north side with a short hallway between leading from the general waiting room occupying the entire east end, to the window through which baggage is to be checked at the baggage room. The building is to be heated with hot water, will be lighted by electricity and will be thoroughly modern in every way. The building is to be located at the junction of the company's tracks and Main street and is to be constructed next year.
