MINUTES OF THE FIRE COMPANY MEETING.

The meeting called by the mayor for the purpose of organizing a volunteer fire company convened at the twon hall Friday night and on the motion of W. W. SCOTT, who called the meeting to order, Dr. J. H. HANSON was chosen to preside. D. F. LAMBERT was chosen secretary. Addresses were made by Dr. HANSON, W. W. SCOTT, W. H. DEAM, O. L. FERGUSON, A. M. NEWBERRY and A. C. GEER, after which the following botained: Resolved, That the chair appoint a committee of three to organize a volunteer fire company.

The chair selected Wm. ANDERSON, W. W. SCOTT and O. A. OLSEN, as the members of that committee. Adjourned.
