State of Iowa, on complaint of JOSIE NEGLEY vs. KIRBY SHOTTS. The plaintiff in the petition states that she is a resident of Decatur County and for many years; that she was in October l897 delivered of a bastard child, that said child is now liable to become a charge on said county and that the defendant, KIRBY SHOTTS, is the father of the child, and has wholly failed to provide for the same in any manner.
