The "onion case" was tried Monday before Esq. WHEELER and a jury of six men. This was a case where the Garden Grove Bank levied upon 100 bushels of onions as the property of S. D. VAIL. Peter E. VAIL replevined them as belonging to him. The jury after considering the matter about five hours Monday night returned a verdict for the plaintiff without damages. J. L. YOUNG appeared for the plaintiff and S. H. AMOS for the Deft.
