A disgraceful free-for-all fight took place in front of Pryor's Restaurant Saturday afternoon. Trouble started when CLEVE MULLEN and a young brother of CLAUDE CLARK had some trouble at a barn south of the square and young CLARK hunted up his brother CLAUDE and told him MULLEN had been abusing him. CLARK hunted up MULLEN and found him at the restaurant and proceeded to get busy squaring accounts with him, and before he got through GEO. SMITH, and JIM STILL had also taken a hand and the contestants fought all over the sidewalk for five or ten minutes, the large crowd present apparently showing no disposition to part them. After it was all over, Marshal Chandler arrested CLEVE MULLEN, GEO. SMITH, JIM STILL and CLAUDE CLARK and when taken before Mayor Woodard they pled guilty to fighting and each was fined $5.00 and costs.
