NEW COURT CASES:

MAUDE MCCORMICK vs. MACY ACTON. The plaintiff brings suit for $2,000 damages to her character by reason of her arrest and prosecution before Justice A. W. Moffett, of Hamilton Township, upon an information filed by MACY ACTON charging her with assault with intent to commit murder. She was tried on the charge in November and acquitted. That previous to her arrest she enjoyed a good reputation in the community in which she resided. She has suffered the following damages: mental pain and suffering, $500; time lost $50; other expenses, $l0; attorney fee, $50; and exemplary damages $l,500.
