Nearest town: Lineville
Earliest tombstone burial: July 28, 1857 #10-5
Latest tombstone burial: 1942 #8-8History: There are many broken and unreadable stones in this cemetery located at the end of a long dirt lane. (This lane is .2 miles north of the Lineville/Pleasanton road. There is an orange #519 “warning gas line” marker where the lane begins.)
The original east half was given by William and Elizabeth Dillon. The first burial was a Galpin baby girl (named Mandy?) but there is no stone marking this grave, but thought her burial was in 1856. Later a west section was added to the cemetery. Originally the road went on the east side; the fence, too, has been moved and there are unmarked graves (overgrown with timber) outside the fenceline.
