Latest tombstone burial: 1948 (#2-1) 1969 (temporary marker)History: The first tombstone burial was Catherine M Trullinger (age 16) died 1859. Land around cemetery was owned by Trullinger’s. (May also have been known as Reynolds Cemetery -- I located west of Reynolds settlement and school.") Cemetery is located on a hill and cannot be seen from the road; rocked driveway up to cemetery; fenced; no trees. There are about 20 rocks and boulders marking unknown graves.
Joseph W., son of Gabriel & Elizabeth Mass Trullinger, came to High Point Township in 1855 and settled 120 acres in Section 17. He married Jennie Ridgeway in 1878. Joseph was youngest of 8 children "perhaps Catherine M. Trullinger (first burial) was his sister. Mr. Trullinger & Mr. Reynolds laid out the plat of the cemetery from Trullinger land.
