| History: The first Mennonite family, the Wayne
MILLERS, came to Decatur County in 1958. Others soon followed. The first
church house was the Franklin Church northeast of Leon. (See Franklin
Cemetery) The building now serves as the Mennonite school. A 1 1/2 year-old girl was the first burial in the cemetery located just north of the church.
