History: O'Grady Cemetery is a family cemetery located at the end of a long gravel lane. Patrick & Margaret O'Grady, both born in Ireland, settled in Section 17 in 1867. The first tombstone burial was Mrs. O'Grady in 1895. (See #3-6 for spelling -- "P.O. Grady.") Their children are also buried here. The tomstones are located mostly under trees toward the back of the cemetery. There are iris growing on the outside of the west fence.
