History: Also known as Tabor Cemetery. Mt. Tabor was an early settlement with about 12 houses. The settlement's main function was to supply oak and hickory wood to fire a brick factory. The church, located east of the cemetery, was torn down around the year of 1900.

Before the curved road was straightened, graves in the north section were moved farther south. But many years later when grading was being done on the road some graves were found outside of the northwest corner of the cemetery these were probably some not moved originally when the road was first straightened. The cemetery, located in a remote section of Eden Township, is fenced and is located at the end of a long dirt lane.

There are 5 other graves along the west fence marked with rocks. There is a report that there are children's burials all the way across the west fence. There are others, about 10, unmarked mounds throughout this cemetery.
