John Brown (1864-1947) son of Joseph and Hulda (Young) Brown married Rosa Fogleman (1874-1946) daughter of Gaston and Suzanna (Cobb) Fogleman. Joseph was a native of Indiana and Hulda migrated from Kentucky.

John and Rosa lived east of Grand River. They had six children: Rolla and Opal died as infants, ...................and Arnold (married Cleo Goucher).

John and Rosa were faithful members of the Baptist Church from early life until they died.
