James Allen and wife Mary Ann Mills Allen. Taken Lamoni, Decatur Co., Iowa. Probably around early 1920's. James Allen and son Robert Allen ran the mill in Lamoni. Later James and grandson Willard Moon ran the mill when Robert left for Pittsburg, KS. Eventually the mill was left to Willard who used the building for several other things, eventually turning it into an apartment building.

Mary Ann Mills Allen in front of the Saints' Home in Lamoni where she lived from about 1922 until her death in 1927.

Elizabeth Ellen Allen Williams, wife of Joseph T. Williams, and eldest daughter of James and Mary Ann Allen. She ran the Saints' Home for a time and took care of her parents there. After her mother's death in 1927 she went to Independence, Missouri. She is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Lamoni.

Alice Allen Thorburn, second daughter of James and Mary Ann Allen, wife of George W. Thorburn. Lived in Lamoni from about 1900 through October 1906 when she died of cancer.

Jessie Thorburn Fleming, daughter of Alice Allen Thorburn and George Thorburn, married Fleming in Lamoni in

Charles W. Moon and Sarah (Sadie) Emma Allen Moon, youngest daughter of James and Mary Ann Allen.
