This fellow is not known to us at this time. The collection of pictures has a lot of the Bassett family so the thought is that it might be Elias Bassett, however one researcher doesn't believe that this type of photo was done before his death in 1873. However, I have one taken in Michigan of a child about 1878 just like it. Contributed by Frank Durham
