BLUFFORD KOGER Seriously wounded by H.G. ANDREWS.

Last April, H.G. ANDREWS, a young man who had been in the county a short time was married to MISS MINA KOGER, of this city. They went to northwestern Iowa, where they lived about four weeks. They then separated, he going to Illinois and she coming to Decatur County. She has since been living with her brother BLUFFORD KOGER, in Decatur Township. Not long since MRS. ANDREWS filed a petition in the district court for a divorce. Soon, however, ANDREWS came on and wanted her to live with him again. This she refused to do. They had considerable talk over the matter and finally BLUFFORD KOGER ordered him to leave the place.

Yesterday morning ANDREWS again went to KOGER'S to attempt to get his wife to live with him. After he had talked with the woman for a time, KOGER came in. They had some words and without further ado, ANDREWS drew his revolver and shot KOGER, the ball taking effect in the left side. There were several men present and ANDREWS was at once placed under arrest. His examination takes place at Decatur today. MR. KOGER's wound is of a very serious nature and it is not known whether he will recover or not.
