Postmaster Millard F. Stookey has been confined to his home

ever since a week ago last Friday night. He was going home

when he placed his crutch on a knot in a board and it broke

through with him, throwing him heavily to the ground, and spraining

and bruising his crippled limb so that he has since been unable

to get to the postoffice, but is slowly improving.
