I was wondering if anyone might be able to clear up a question I have

regarding Jasper Warnstaff, son of Noah and Mary.

Jasper Warnstaff and Delila Belle Criswell received a marriage license in

Decatur Co., Iowa 30 Dec 1884. There was no return of marriage shown. Did

they marry in another county?

On 2 Dec 1894, Jasper married Meda Bernard. This marriage was listed as

Jasper's 2nd marriage.

What happened to Delila Belle (Criswell) Warnstaff? I can find no burial for

her in Decatur county. Delila was born about 1859 MN, the daughter of

Jonathan A. and Ruth Ann (Day) Criswell and the granddaughter of Joshua Rufus

Day, an early settler of Decatur county.
