Marie,

I didn't realize you were descended from Elizabeth Warrick and Ralph Hatfield. I

tried some time ago to get a copy of her death certificate. My information says

she died on March 26, 1902, Decatur co. Since death certificates have a place on

the form for the mother's maiden name, I had high hopes of solving the mystery of

Elizabeth Warrick (mother of Robert and Elizabeth). The search by the Iowa Dept

of Public Records, Bureau of Vital Records came back empty. They were not able to

find it. Would you happen to know any more about her death certificate or is this

a dead end (no pun).

I've been trying for years to find information on the ancestry of William Warrick

and his wife Elizabeth who died March 04, 1868 in Decatur co.
