Sadie Brown taken at Reeves Bros. Studio in Bloomfield IA in 1898.  It was found in an album belonging to John Glenn Merritt. Merritt was born in 1868 in Bloomfield and when his mother died in 1869 was raised by his mother's brother, Wm. Martindale Young and wife, Martha.  They appear to be from the Savannah (Wyacondah Twp) area. Merritt's father was John Lemuel and his mother was Mary Pauline Young Merritt.
