To my son E H Van Meter for his lifetime the N1/2 NE 1/4, Sec 30, and the SE 1/4 and S 1/2 NE 1/4, Sec 19, all T 78 N, R 27 W, and after his death to his wife Clara B Van Meter a life estate in 1/3 of property then to William J Van Meter son of E H Van Meter. To my grandchildren: Fletcher Van Meter, Doris M Van Meter and Julius N Van Meter, children of my
deceased son Alphonso Van Meter the N 1/2 NE 1/4, Sec 19 and the N 1/2 SW 1/4 and the NW 1/4, all Sec 20, T 79 N, R 27 W. To the children of my sons 1/2 and SE 1/4, Sec 20, T 78 N, R 27 W. The following real estate has been sold, reserving coal rights and mining privileges: the N 1/2 NW 1/4, Sec 29, and the S 1/2 SW 1/4, Sec 20, and the W 1/2 SW 1/4 and the NE 1/4 SW 1/4, all Sec 21, T 78 N, R 27 W, with 1/2 interest in such rights to the children of my sons.

my step-mother Elizabeth Schenk zn Schweinsberg of Cassel Germany,
also 1000 Mark more or less being my share of proceeds
from a collection of oil paintings; also my library of
