- FN = Family Number in the Order of Visitation
- LAST NAME, FIRST NAME = The Name of Every Person Whose Usual Place of Abode on the 1st Day of June, 1930, was in this family
- REL = Relation to the head of the family
- HOR = Home owned or rented
- VAL = Value of home if owned or monthly rental if rented
- RADIO = Radio set
- FARM = Does this family live on a farm
- SEX = Male or Female
- RACE = Color (White, Black or Mulatto)
- AGE = Age at last birthday
- MAR = Marital condition
- AGEMAR = Age at first marriage
- SCH = Attended school or college any time since Sept 1, 1929
- R/W = Whether able to read/write
- BIRTHPLACE = Place of birth
- FATHERBP = Place of Father's birth
- MOTHERBP = Place of Mother's birth
- LAN = Language spoken in home before coming to the U. S.
- IMM = Year of Immigration to the United States
- NAT = Naturalization
- ENG = Whether able to speak English
- OCCUP. = Trade, profession, or particular kind of work
- IND = Industry or business
- CLASS = Class of Worker - Owner or Wage Earner
- WORK = Whether actually at work yesterday
- NOT = If not, line number on Unemployment Schedule
- VET = Veteran of U. S. Military or Naval Forces
- WAR = What war?
- FARMSCH = Number on Farm Schedule
