To Bob and especially all the volunteers that subscribe to the Crawford County Genweb, and all of the rest of the subscribers to this list; to each and everyone of you who has contributed something and have made this the best in the state of Iowa.

When we took over the Crawford County list, we only had approximately 25 to 30 pages in 1999. Now, here it is 2006 and we have over 600 and some pages. This is due to each of you contributing something and especially all of you volunteers. In January of 2006, I am going to let each and every one of you know what happened to me. I have had for several years, muscular dystrophy which has caused a weakness in my biceps, shoulder blade muscles, and also, my left leg is very, very weak.

Now, due to pneumonia which hit me in January around the first week, I have been in the hospital four weeks and in rehab for two weeks; but somehow nothing is improving and I have lost much, much more in strength.

I will be limited to being online but I will do my best. So, I am not sure how this will work out; but if someone can help Bob out it would be appreciated.

I have not much more to say but that each and everyone of you are the greatest. I guess I can just say that our list in Iowa is the BEST.

Take care my friends,
Love,
Fred Dethlefsen
