The 1905 Census Register is a listing of names and post office addresses of all individuals included in the 1905 census in each of the townships and towns for the county.
The census records themselves are only available for viewing at the Iowa State Historical Society in Des Moines, Iowa. Access the Census Register transription by clicking on the blue folder below for the enumerated districts of interest to you.  More Information

The first page of the register for each census district read as follows: The number given each name in this list must be placed on the population card for that person. This book must be returned to the County Auditor with the cards and by him sent to Des Moines with the cards. You will note that the same person may appear more than one time in the same register page. This probably implies that more than one card was completed for that person.
