Jan. 3, 2001 a victim of Alzheimer's Disease, as was his Mother before him.

Their son, Donald Ray, was b. 05 Feb 1937, Crawford, Dawes, NE d. 16 Jul 1975
Sycamore Canyon, CA.
Their Daughter, Beverly Jean was b. at Harlan, Shelby, Iowa. When she was 2
1/2 months old, they moved to Fremont, Dodge, NE.
In 1954, Rachel and the children moved to Ontario, CA
Melvin, a salesman, traveled a number of years before settling in Florida.
He was married and divorced 3 more times.
During his first marriage, he was a good Husband and Father, leaving his
Daughter with memories of a wonderful childhood.
His mother was Anna Margaret BAHNSEN b. 28 Dec 1894, 313 Harrison St.,
Clinton, IA. Parents Sanky BAHNSEN b. S. H. Germany and Christena Jansen
b. 1856 in Germany. I would guess they died in Iowa. Anna was
the sixth child of all girls and I believe they all grew up & married,
in and about, Davenport, Iowa.
Melvin's Father, Frank Hansen was b. 03 Jun 1890, Hickory Grove Twp., IA.
Frank d. 25 May 1951 at Omaha, Douglas, NE Buried: Dixon Cemetery, Donahue, Iowa
