Know ye, That Harvey S. Curtis a Private of Captain H.A. Maxwell's Company, (F), Eighth Regiment of United States Veterans VOLUNTEERS, who was enrolled on the 5th day of April, 1865 one thousand eight hundred and Sixty five to serve one years, or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this 5th day of April 1866, at Washington D.C. by reason of expiration of term of service

[No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)

Said Harvey S. Curtis was born in Nepoli in the State of New York , is 25 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, light complexion, black eyes, Brown hair and by occupation when enrolled a Soldier.

Given at Washington D.C. , this fifth day of April 1866.
