Born 1865 and died in December 1938, Dr. Charles W. Dorman is buried in the Strawberry Point cemetery. He graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Iowa, and was the nephew of Dr. J.M. Dorman, a pioneer dentist from Fayette, Fayette co. Iowa. He married Anna Fowells in 1902 and they had one daughter, Doris.

Dr. H. M. Eaton, D.D.S., has been practicing in Strawberry Point since he graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Iowa in 1895. He started his practice in the building now occupied by Dr. C. W. Dorman. Dr. Eaton married Miss Grace Davis. Dr. Eaton has served as Mayor of Strawberry Point, also as director of the school board. He was the first president of the Lion's club organized in 1931. Dr. Eaton was married to Miss Myrtle Gilchrist in 1899. Myrwyn, their only son, is an instructor at Harvard University. Dr. Max Lyon, graduate of the state university of Iowa dental college, will open his dental office in McGregor Saturday of this week. He has been in McGregor for several weeks making preparations to take over the practice of the late Dr. W.F. Todd. [see Dr. Todd's entry in 1925 table above] The new office will be located over the Mallard restaurant and the past two weeks it has been redecorated for Dr. Lyon. Considerable new dental equipment is being installed this week and Dr. Lyon expects to have his shingle out by Saturday. He is a graduate of Fayette, Iowa, high school, and
has since lived in West Union, having just graduated from
the state university dental college, after taking two
years of pre-dental work at Iowa Wesleyan college at Mt.
