Logan Center School No. 5
Jct. of 420th St. and 310th Ave., Dickens, Iowa

Logan Center School #5, intersection of 420th St. and 310th Ave., Dickens. Built in 1895, Logan Center School #5 remains as one of the schools built to house accessible public education in the era before automobiles. The one-acre tract of land, which includes the school, was purchased from F.M. Barnard in 1894 for $20.  Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
