Nashua Reporter 9 June 1971 Of NHS's First Class of 1885 Members of the first Nashua graduating class, back in 1885, were quoted to us by Mildred Tracy from a class directory she has. Her list notes nine girls and two boys; the newspaper account back then spoke of ten girls and the two boys. Mrs. Tracy's list reads as follows: Luna Bartsch Smith, Ida Butler Gaugh, Charles Conklin, Sadie Conklin Dana, Mae Dexter Johnson (Norman's mother), Ada Noble Wayne, Leigh Putney, Lottie Schank Caster, Kitty Troy Wilbur, Stella Wait Noble and Belle Waterbury Wood.
