This photo was contributed by Debbie Van Sant from LeClaire, Iowa in May 2012. The photo belonged to her grandmother, Elizabeth Petersen, who lived in New Hampton and passed away in 1960. It is identified only as Schulz Band. Her grandmother was related to the Schulz family in Chickasaw County. Her grandmother’s grandmother was Fredericka Buske who was a sister to Carl Schulz who settled in Boyd. His children were Ulrieke Duenow, Ernestene Drewelow, Julius Schulz, Otto Schulz and Augusta Diekmann. She is hoping someone can identify the members of this band.
