Lyne Family Reunion; More Than Seventy Members of this Family Gather in Thirteenth Reunion at Leaman Home-A more perfect day than last Thursday could not be desired for holding the Lynes family reunion, which was celebrated at the A. D. Leaman home in this city, being the 13th annual anniversary of this large family.  Seventy two members were present, three different states being represented--New York, South Dakota, and Iowa, the largest delegation, of course, being from the latter state.  The principle feature of the day's program was a sumptuous dinner, served under the shade trees on the lawn.  Covers for 72 persons were laid around a 60-foot table, and as the Lynes family have an unexcelled reputation for being the best of cooks, the reader can imagine something of the dinner that was served.  Immediately following this Photographer H. D. Jewett took a picture of the group which congregated upon the long piazza for this purpose.  Later a program was rendered, several brief remarks being made, the speakers being Andrew Lunes of New York state, Ira Collins of Waterloo, W. W. Blasier of Jesup, James Lynes of Waverly, James Brodie of Waverly and Howard Roach of Plainfield and a recitation by Merrill Peterson of Ionia.  The program was in charge of Mr. Reeves of Waverly.  The president, Mrs. Mary Ham of Boston, Mass., a Lynes sister, was unable to be present, but she had sent a beautiful bouquet of cut flowers, which adorned the center of the dining table, and later each sister was given a rose to wear, as the absent sister had requested, and she in turn would also wear one on this day.  Those present were: Andrew Lynes of New York; Mr. and Mrs. Hoivey, Mrs. Nick Thompson and son of South Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hartson, Mesdames Bertha Bromley and Herman M. Meyer, Charles City; Ray Farnsworth and family, New Hartford; Glenn Kepple and family, Ionia; James Lynes and family, James Brodie and family; Mr. and Mrs. Reeves, Waverly; Clarence Hastings and family, Horton; Messrs. and Mesdames David and Charles Farnsworth and A. E. Roach and family, Plainfield; Ira Collins and family, Mrs. May Bromley and daughter and granddaughter, Waterloo; W. W. Blasier and Roy, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Scheu, Mrs. H. M.
