LYNES FAMILY REUNION; Tenth Annual Reunion of this Family Held at Plainfield Last Saturday, 60 Present--The tenth annual reunion of the Lynes families was held at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Lynes in Plainfield last Saturday, June 19, 1915, and in spite of the bad weather sixty were present.  Tables had been erected on the lawn, but about noon the rain began to fall and the tables had to be moved into the house.  The spacious dining rooms accommodated thirty eight at once but the bountiful supply was enough for all and to spare.  After dinner a fine program, consisting of piano solos, duets, songs, etc, were rendered, after which letters from the absent member of the family were read.  Next came the election of officers for the coming year and A. A. Lynes was made president and Mrs. J. J. Lynes, secretary.  A rising vote of thanks was given Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Lynes for their hospitality which helped to make the reunion such a success.  As we were preparing to leave we had a surprise in the arrival of Miss Nettie Lynes, of Ada, Minn., who had been delayed at St. Paul, thus causing the lateness of her arrival.  Those in attendance from out of town were:  Mr. and Mrs. I. D. Collins and Fae and Clifford, Mrs. Paul Baker and daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Shaw of Waterloo, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Farnsworth, and Liedner and Gerald, of New Hartford, Mrs. A. J. Blasier and son, Roy and Mrs. H. C. Scheu of Nashua, Mrs. May Bromley and granddaughter and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Leaman of Nashua, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Harrison of Charles City and Glenn Lynes of Sioux City

CAGLEY FAMILY REUNION; About One Hundred and Twenty-five Attend the Annual Reunion of the Cagley Clan--The annual reunion of the Cagley family was held at the fair grounds last week Thursday and was attended by about 125 of the Cagley clan.  Many of those who attended were from a considerable distance and the reunion was a very enjoyable affair.  A big dinner at noon was followed by sports of various kinds by the men and social conversation by the women.  A game of baseball was one of the events and pitching horseshoes furnished considerable amusement.  The annual shooting match was won by John Cagley of Minnesota with a score of 92, and R. L. Cagley was a close seond with a score of 90 while four others tied at 89.  At the election of officers the old officers were re-elected for the coming year and with them will rest the selection of the place and time of holding the next reunion.

Thomas Family Reunion--An item of news we overlooked last week was the annual reunion of the Thomas families, held August 22 at the E. E. Tracy home south of town.  More than fifty relatives gathered to enjoy the occasion and a fine time and big dinner was enjoyed.  Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fuller, of Rockford, Ill., were among those present.  There was also quite a delegation of relatives from Greene and vicinity.

Family Reunion--The annual reunion and picnic of the Belden and Ogbin families was held last Thursay at the picnic grounds between Plainfield and Horton, about forty members of the two "tribes" being present to enjoy the occasion.  A big picnic dinner was the principal part of the event, the time after the disposal of the many good eatables being spent in visiting and talking over old times.  Those who went down from here were Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Troutner and son Bertie, Mrs. Millie Van Auken and Eph Belden, of Bellingham, Wash., who was visiting here.
