LOGAN BASIC TECHNIQUE CLASS
Mason City, September of 1935

Logan Basic Technique, also known as the Logan Method, approved by the International Chiropractic Association, focused on the misalignment of the sacrum (the bone at the lower end of the spine between the hip bones). This is the complete opposite of the Palmer Method which focused on the upper vertebrae of the spine. The Logan Technique was developed by H. B. LOGAN, D.C., founder of the Logan College of St. Louis, Missouri. His technique uses the muscular structure surrounding the sacrum as a lever system for balancing the entire structure of the spine and employs gentle pressure. The technique is still in practice today.
