MR. AND MRS. J. F. NICHOLAS celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary Wednesday at their home at 951 East State street.
They moved here from Mitchell county about a year ago to be with their daughter, Miss Lena NICHOLAS, who is principal of
the Jefferson school. They ahve three living children: Maynard E. at Pine River, Minn., Mrs. Charlotte EZRA at
Taylorsville, Ill., and Miss NICHOLAS, here. Two older sons have died, C. H. NICHOLAS in 1934, who lived in Minneapolis,
and F. C. NICHOLAS in 1938, whose home was in Milwaukee. This is also Mr. NICHOLAS' 81st birthday. Mrs. NICHOLAS will be
78 in April. Both are active and seldom miss going to church. There are eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
