Among the agencies distributing baskets to needy families in the community this Christmas was the Elks lodge. Members of the lodge committe are shown above loading the baskets into a truck for distribution. In the truck is the driver, Frank SMITH, while left to right on the sidewalk are: Bill GAMBLE, Ralph KELSO, committee chairman, and Scott CRAIG. Fifty baskets were distributed, each containing canned goods, peck of potatoes, bread, butter, meat, walnuts and other articles.
